I froze. My stomach dropped so hard I thought I was going to be sick.
She didn’t notice my face — she just smiled politely and walked toward the elevator, dragging her suitcase behind her. My legs were shaking, but I followed at a distance, my mind spinning.
And then, right there, I saw it — my husband’s overnight bag leaning against the wall by the elevator.
She picked it up like it was the most natural thing in the world.
That’s when I snapped the photo. My hands were trembling so badly I could barely hold my phone.
In that moment, I realized his “business trips” weren’t about work at all… and I was about to find out just how long this had been going on.
