About 10 minutes into our flight, a kid, maybe 10 years old, began his game. My dad politely asked him to stop, and he did…for 10 seconds. Then, he began again.
So my dad RECLINED his seat as much as he could, and when the boy’s parents asked him to put it up, he didn’t.
They called the flight attendant (FA) and HERE began the most interesting part!!
Boy’s dad: This man put his seat down, and my wife is uncomfortable!!
FA (to my dad): Would you like to keep it down?
Dad: Yes, please.
The FA just nodded and said, “Then he’s within his rights to do so.”
The boy’s dad looked stunned, but my dad wasn’t finished. He calmly added, loud enough for the surrounding passengers to hear:
“Maybe if your son stopped kicking my seat for the last hour, I wouldn’t need to keep it down.”
A few people around us chuckled, and the mom’s face turned red.
The rest of the flight? Dead silent from their row — not a single kick, cough, or complaint.
Best. In-flight. Karma. Ever.
